Ex Players Grill Pakistan’s Performance

INDIAA VS PAkistanFormer players have strongly criticized Pakistan’s poor performance in their opening match against India.

Former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar said that Misbah needs to get hold of the situation and reprimand players with a non serious attitude. Akhtar was particularly harsh on Ahmed Shehzad and claimed that his poor attitude won’t be tolerated by any other team. He added that Shehzad tends to copy Virat Kohli in every sense and it is time that he starts playing the way of the India batsman too.

World Cup winning captain Imran Khan however said that Pakistan has some great talent and with a better strategy they can beat any team.

Wasim Akram was also very critical of Shehzad and said that we can’t excuse him by saying he is a youngster anymore. He has played a lot and should take responsibility.

Meanwhile a disheartened young man aged 20 committed suicide in Kando Khel after Pakistan lost to India in the World Cup.
