KARACHI: Crackdown against criminal elements continues in Karachi as police arrested two accused during a raid in Mahmoodabad area on Mondayincluding a former police cop.
According to details, police carried out an operation in Mahmoodabad No-1 area and arrested two accused, including a former police constable. The arrested accused were named as Arif and Mehfooz.
Police sources said that Arif and Mehfooz were involved in more than 50 cases of street crimes and used to carry out their criminal activities in a rickshaw. Police have also recovered arms from the arrested accused.
