ISLAMABAD, Dec. 22(INP): Engineering community fully stands by the civilian and armed forces fighting terrorism and bringing peace, stability and prosperity in the country.
This was stated by President of Institution Engineers Pakistan Islamabad-Rawalpindi chapter Engr. Hussain Ahmed Siddiqui while presiding over a condolence meeting held here Monday for the victims of last week’s tragic incident in Peshawar.
He said the incident which took precious lives has shaken the entire engineering community. He said the engineering community fully support the steps being taken by the government to give exemplary punishment to the culprits, involved in the heinous crime.
He appreciated the unity shown by the political leadership at this crucial juncture of the national history. ” We will go hand by hand with the government for aggressively pursuing its development agenda and bringing peace in the country”, he added.
Engr. Siddiqui further said the Institution of Engineers will be prepared to play its role for socio-economic development of the country and to foil the agenda of the terrorists’ groups. It also expressed sympathies with the bereaved families.
