ISLAMABAD: Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister, has given each of his eight special assistants a portfolio from a different ministry. Raza Rabbani Khar has been given the portfolios of trade, Nawabzada Iftikhar Babar Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs, interprovincial coordination, Taslim Qureshi industry and production, Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha water resources, poverty alleviation and social protection, Sardar Saleem Haider overseas Pakistanis, and health, according to the Cabinet Division. The prime minister has so far given each of his 14 special assistants a specific portfolio.
