Patriot Web Desk: Citizens continued to suffer on Saturday as majority of the ATM’s countrywide ran out of cash. The government had earlier announced that banks would remain open on Saturday and also claimed that they have issued strict orders to management of banks to ensure availability of cash at all ATMs.
However the situation was contrary to government’s claim as ATM’s ran of out of cash due to the Eid rush, many also reported the problem of the networks being down. A source at a private bank told Daily The Patriot that due to the exceptional rush the system is simply unable to cope with the demand. The source further revealed that the situation will worsen in the coming days.
