ISLAMABAD : The Election Commission of Pakistan has issued notice to Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda on the disqualification petitions filed against alleged concealment of dual citizenship. A five-member commission headed by the Chief Election Commissioner heard the disqualification petitions against Federal Minister Faisal Vawda. While no one from Faisal Vawda appeared before the Election Commission. The Election Commission has also issued notice to Faisal Vawda while seeking reply from the petitioners regarding the admissibility of the petition. The ECP said that unilateral action would be taken if Faisal Vawda did not appear at the next hearing.
