PESHAWAR: Drone strike on late Monday killed at least four militants in restive tribal region near the Afghan border.
The strike took place in the Shawal area of North Waziristan, sources said.
According to sources, the unmanned aircraft fired two missiles at a compound in Shawal area killing at least four people.
North Waziristan is one of seven semi-autonomous tribal districts that border Afghanistan.
Pakistan had launched a long-awaited push to clear the tribal region from insurgent last June after a bloody Taliban attack on Karachi airport sank faltering peace talks.
