QadriISLAMABAD: Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri on Friday announced to hold rally in Karachi after the month of Muharram.
The PAT chief asked his supporters of Faisalabad, Lahore and Karachi to return to their cities to make preparations for PAT rallies in their respective districts.
Addressing his supporters at a sit-in, he said first rally will be held in Faisalabad, followed by Lahore and Karachi.
He, however, said dates for rallies will be announced later. He said ‘revolutionary battle’ against the incumbent system will continue until it is toppled. The PAT chief lamented that PM did not attend Senate’s proceeding for at least once in last one-and-a-half year. He bragged that he educated people on Article 62 & 63 of the Constitution. Be it a political dictatorship or military dictatorship, no one listens to the poor, he said. He vowed to contest ‘electoral war’ as well as ‘revolution war’.
The PAT chief said he would not forgive the system, which was operating against the poor. “The message of revolution will reach every part of the country. I will personally visit people in different cities,” he said. INP
