Senior Minister of Punjab Maryam Aurangzeb has said that despite the reduction in smog, the anti-smog grand operation is going on in full force in the entire Punjab including Lahore and dozens of kilns and industrial units causing pollution have been demolished.
Maryam Aurangzeb said that during the last four days, dozens of polluting kilns and industrial units were demolished, dozens of factories and factories were sealed.

Maryam Aurangzeb said that 51 industrial units have been sealed for spreading pollution and the steel mill in Ferozwala has also been sealed.
He said that a major action was taken against polluting units in Lahore and 30 cells, 5 industrial units were demolished and a fine of four lakh rupees was imposed.
He said that raids have also been conducted on the units that did not implement precautionary measures, checking of vehicles on various highways including Lahore entry points and Sigiyan bridge is going on.
The senior provincial minister said that action will also be taken on non-covering of vehicles carrying construction materials, commercial generators in green lockdown areas are being checked and surveillance is also being done with Safe City cameras.
He said that water is being sprinkled on the highways of Lahore and he congratulated the EPA, administration, police, DC and commissioner in this regard and said that the public administration, every officer and staff of the institutions.
