Pakistan is all set to highlight Indian interference in Pakistan at the highest international forum. Pakistan would present its dossier on Indian interference in Pakistan to the United Nations secretary General. Dr. Maleeha Lodhi Pakistan’s permanent representative at the UN would present the dossier on captured Indian spy Kulbhushan Yadav and evidence of Indian involvement, for promoting unrest in Pakistan. Dossier would be handed over to Secretary General Antonio Guterres in the second week of January.
Kulbhushan Yadav is a serving Indian navy officer and an operative of India’s intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), he was caught by security forces last year. His capture is another proof of Indian interference and state-sponsored terrorism. The dossier contains confessional statements of captured Indian intelligence officer along with evidence of maritime violations of India with images and video. In the month of November an Indian submarine reportedly attempted to enter in Pakistani waters. Pakistan Navy after thwarting infiltration bid of the Indian submarine revealed that Indian Navy deployed its submarine against Pakistan with ulterior motives. It is also pertinent to mention here that the submarine incident coincided with the fourth Pak-China joint naval exercise for improving maritime security and stability in the region and the start of shipping activity under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) from Gwadar. Indian suspicious activities are aimed at creating unrest in the largest province of Pakistan in a bid to sabotage developments under CPEC. India is also using its good ties with Afghanistan to use its land to patronizing terrorist organizations to carry out terrorist attacks inside Pakistan.
Pakistan has time and again raised issue of Indian involvement in Pakistan, particularly in Balochistan and Karachi to exploit anti-Pakistan elements by providing economic assistance. Pakistan has successfully highlighted Indian human rights violations in held Kashmir and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a tit-for-tat policy tried to raise questions on human rights violations in Balochistan. It shows that India is keen to create instability in Bacloshitan, which is the centre of developments under CPEC. Since Modi became Prime Minister of India, bilateral relations of Pakistan and India have deteriorated. Pakistan is determent to make CPEC operational with the help of China, after completion of this massive project can be a game changer for the entire region. Thinking to sabotage CPEC shows shortsightedness of India considering the fact that project has the potential to give much needed access to India to reach Afghanistan and Central Asia. India needs to look at the bigger picture, CPEC is a reality now and Indian hostility cannot undo it.
Pakistan has already presented at least three dossiers to ex United Nations Secretary General, Ban Ki Moon but nothing substantial was done in this regard and the move did not get much traction. It is good strategy of Pakistan to expose India at the highest forum for its involvement in creating unrest in Pakistan. But Pakistan needs to constantly pursue the developments after submitting dossiers of Indian interference in anti-Pakistan activities. Because just unleashing the wrath of Indian belligerence would not do much good for Pakistan, it has to have a comprehensive plan to expose India consistently.
