Won’t set free miscreants: Sindh Rangers

KARACHI: Sindh Rangers came out strongly Thursday against demands for release of MQM workers,Roze News reported.

A spokesman of the Sindh Rangers said that those miscreants involved in firing on Rangers personnel could not be set free.

The statement came as MQM is staging sit-ins across Karachi to protest against arrest of its party workers.

Tension gripped the entire city as many businesses, shops and schools were closed due to uncertain situation.

Paramilitary Rangers in a statement over the raid on a party office of MQM said on Thursday that the raid was conducted after firing over the law enforcement personnel from the building.

Meanwhile, MQM Chief Altaf Hussain talking to media, has condemned the raid on the MQM office and arrest of the party workers.

He has called COAS Raheel Sharif to launch investigations against the black sheep. He said that Muhajirs are being pushed to the wall.

Altaf alleged that the MQM workers being extra-judicially killed. He also said that the Rangers force has been active against MQM in Karachi.NNI
