Dacoits’ gang busted in Capital

ISLAMABAD, Dec, 06 (INP): Islamabad Police have busted a gang of dacoits and also arrested 17 outlaws from various areas of the city besides recovering one vehicle, mobile phones, weapons and other looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said.

According to details, IGP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan had given a task to SP (Investigation) Syed Muhammad Bilal to arrest criminal gang involved in dacoity. A team  headed by  DSP CIA Fida Hussain Satti , Mansoor Ahmed Sub Inspector  Ameer Sajjad ASI along with  police team to take prompt action in this connection. Police team raided in sector H-9/2 and arrested five dacoits namely Yousaf s/o Gul Akbar r/o district Noshera, Ahmed Khan s/o Hazrat gull r/o Afghanistan, Abrar s/o Sheer Muhammad r/o of Malakand , Mustaiq  s/o Smandar Khan r/o Abbottabad  and Mujahid s/o Mustaiq r/o Abbottabad.

Police recovered four 30 bore pistols along with ammunition from their possession.  During the initial interrogation, they confessed their involvement in snatching cash and mobile phones from people in twin cities areas at gun point. Further investigation is underway from them Meanwhile, CIA police raided in chistiaabad Tarnol and arrested three gamblers red handed namely Zafar Iqbal, Ishatiq and Tariq and recovered cash, mobile phone and gambling tools from their possession.
