LAHORE: Former prime minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali has said that China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a good omen for Pakistan and will prove to be a milestone in development of the country.
Talking to newsmen at the residence of social worker Akram Chaudhry, he said if Punjab claims to be the elder brother, it should also treat the small provinces like elder brother. He said the people of Balochistan are patriot as the residents of other provinces.
To a question, he advocated for increase in the number of provinces, adding that it should be on administrative basis. He said that when he was prime minister he had started papers work on it but later propaganda was started against him. He said that the number of units should be 12, saying that it would settle the problems of the country to a great extent.
