Court grants 14 days remand of Khalid Langove in NAB custody

QUETTA: An accountability court remanded Former Finance Adviser to the Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Khalid Langov for 14 days in NAB custody.

NAB officials arrested Langov from outside the Balochistan High Court, where he had appeared on Wednesday for the hearing of a pre-arrest bail plea in relation to the ongoing investigation of Balochistan secretary finance Mushtaq Raisani’s corruption scandal.

He was arrested as he was exiting the court premises after the BHC bench dismissed his plea.

Speaking to reporters, the Langov’s advocate said that the Islamabad High Court (IHC) had ordered that his client could not be arrested till May 29.

Earlier on May 17, the IHC had granted protective bail of 12 days to former Balochistan finance adviser Mir Khalid Langov.
