ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Army Chief General Raheel Sharif met on Monday to discuss national and regional security at the Prime Minister House.
During the meeting three issues were discussed between Prime Minister Sharif and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel.
According to sources, the two discussed Pakistan-India border tensions in light of Indian aggression at the Line of Control (LoC). The prime minister expressed confidence in the response given by the Pakistan Army against this aggression.
The second point of discussion was pertaining to Afghanistan and the situation at the western border.
