BAHAWALPUR: Punajb Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday urged the opposition parties to wait for commission’s verdict in Panama leaks probe and end the criticism.

The Chief Minister addressed a gathering of farmers at MPA Mian Kazim Ali Pirzada’s residence in Khairpur Tamewali and inaugurated harvest drive.

The CM said that Prime Minister (PM) has written to the Supreme Court (SC) for establishment of a commission and the opposition parties should wait now. Opposition parties’ conspiracies would end the way their protests had no results in 2014, he added.

He said that wheat production, setting a record in the ongoing year is a result of farmers’ hard work.

He announced to give the farmers subsidy worth Rs 100 billion. Government would provide relief in prices of diesel and fertilizers while green tractor scheme would be resumed. The Chief Minister announced to give Rs 0.3 million subsidy on each tractor purchased.
