LAHORE: Chinese Consul General Yu Boren on Friday called on Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore and discussed upcoming visit of Chinese President to Pakistan. During the meeting, both the sides exchanged views on matters of mutual interest, bilateral relations between Pakistan and China and providing cooperation in various fields. Speaking on this occasion, CM Punjab termed China as Pakistan’s honest and reliable friend and stated that Pak-China friendship has stood in every hour of need. While talking about Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit he said that various investment agreements will be signed on his arrival whereas he also thanked China for their support. Chinese Consul General said that his government will continue to take initiatives to promote cooperation with Pakistan in various fields. INP
