BEIJING: A new policy document pledging greater cooperation with the Arab states demonstrates China’s sincerity and responsibility in deepening relations in this part of the world, where conflict and development issues remain a problem.
The guideline, China’s first on the Arab states, details the principles of the cooperation and reiterates Chinese commitment to peace and stability in the Middle East.
It was issued a week prior to President Xi Jinping’s visit to Saudi Araibia, Egypt and Iran fromJan 19 to 23.
