China assures justice in Moizuddin’s killing: FO

ISLAMABAD: The Chinese government has assured the Pakistani side of its full cooperation in the matter relating to killing of Moinzuddin.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and our Mission in Shanghai are in touch with the family of the deceased and are facilitating early transportation of the body to Pakistan, said a spokesman of the foreign office said in response to a question regarding a Pakistani student Mr. Moiz Uddin, who died in Nanjing, China, in a stabbing incident on 11th July, he added.

The Spokesperson said that after the tragic incident, the student was taken to Nanjing Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

He further said, “Our Mission in Shanghai immediately contacted the local Police authorities. They have been asked to thoroughly investigate the matter and to bring the culprit to justice at the earliest”.
