LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) cybercrime wing arrested a suspect in an alleged child pornography business in Lahore on Tuesday.
Hundreds of indecent images and images of children were recovered from the suspect during the investigation. He was apprehended in a housing society in Lahore.
According to the FIA, the suspect, identified as Ihtisham, is a member of a child pornography mafia. Under the guise of video games, the suspect used to befriend the victims.
According to the FIA, he used to film their lewd videos in order to blackmail them later. The suspect was arrested by police following a raid in the housing society to recognize a victim, according to the body’s cybercrime division.
Following remand from a local court, the FIA began further investigation into the case.
