LAHORE: Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali has directed Chief Secretary and IGP Punjab to beef up security of the public in general and the Judges in particular. The Chief Secretary and IGP Punjab were called by the Chief Justice on Friday at Supreme Court Branch Registry, Lahore.
Talking in the backdrop of the current scenario of kidnapping of son of Chief Justice of High Court Sindh from Karachi, the Chief Justice directed Chief Secretary and IGP, Punjab to take effective measures to tighten the security of the Judges and the Courts. He also emphasized upon the need to improve law and order situation.
