The Chevening Southeast Asia Journalism Fellow (SAJP) online registration window for the 2022-23 cohort is now open.The fellowship is aimed at mid-career journalists from South Asian countries such as Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives who already are interested in expanding their knowledge, connection, and potential through tailored short courses, research, or specialist placements at UK institutions, according to the British High Commission.
The University of Westminster hosts the scheme, which is supported by UK Foreign, Commonwealth, & Development Office. By October 12, 2022, solely online will be accepted.

Seven Pakistani journalists will be chosen to participate in a one-of-a-kind fellowship themed ‘Good Governance in a Changing World: , Politics, and Society.’
They will take part in eight weeks of intensive lectures, trips, and discussions that will introduce those to key UK academic studies, media, & political figures in the field, as well as meet their peers in some of the UK’s top media organisations and run a symposium on a topic of their selection in the final week. Fellows in the programme are also invited to private meetups and talks.
