The former security czar failed to win the provincial assembly seat against the Wasiq Qayyum of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf who bagged 27,315 votes against 11,099 of the Pindiites.
Nisar was contesting on the Jeep symbol for PP-12 seat of the Punjab Assembly, however, he failed to impress the constituents.
