S.K. Niazi appreciated for raising voices of grieved families
ISLAMABAD: After twin blasts in Parachinar, which killed over 76 people, relatives of the victims were protesting in grief and anger, but situation was made further unpleasant by the negligence of political leaders sitting in the corridor of power.
This was said by the central leader of Majlis-e Wahdat-e- Muslimeen Allama Raja Nasir Abbas in popular talk show of Roze TV ‘Sachi Baat’ on Tuesday. He said that there were many reasons behind the Parachinar blasts and one of them is the absence of the will to implement all the points of National Action Plan (NAP). He was of the view that it seems all the focus of government is to implement amplifier act but abettors and facilitators of terrorist are roaming freely. He said that many proscribed organizations are still operating after changing their names.
He said that residents of Parachinar are patriotic Pakistanis and even after the third massive terrorist attack in this year, which caused hundreds of casualties, they remained peaceful in their protest. He said Parachinar is the only place in FATA where people always raised voice in favour of Pakistan Army and the homeland. He said the basic rights of the victims of the twin bombings were usurped by the government. He said neither senior government officials nor leaders of major political parties visited Parachinar. He appreciated COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa for visiting Parachinar and redressing the grievances of protesters.
Allama Raja Nasir Abbas appreciated Sardar Khan Niazi and his media house for raising voices of the grieved families in such a time when other media houses almost completely ignored the Parachinar protest. Editor in Chief of Pakistan Group of Newspapers and Chairman Roze TV Sardar Khan Niazi in the program said that all the stakeholders should try to promote religious harmony in the country. He condemned the terrorist attack in Parachinar and extended condolences with the families of victims of recent twin blasts.
