The Judicial Magistrate South of Karachi has sought arguments from the plaintiff and the FIA prosecutor on the bail application at the next hearing.
During the hearing, the defense lawyer took the position that the provisions under which the case has been registered do not apply.
The defense lawyer argued that there is no solid evidence against the accused. The FIA does not have the authority to inquire into a dispute between two private parties.
The court adjourned the hearing till May 8, seeking arguments from the plaintiff and the FIA prosecutor on the next hearing.
