KARACHI: Chief Minister Balochistan, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch has said that his province is in the grip of multifaceted crisis including political and economic challenges.
Talking to media persons here on Saturday, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch said that he has talked to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif about core issue of missing persons in detail and PM has assured to take all possible measures in this regard.
He expressed concerns over sectarian violence and said that Balochistan was plagued by religious extremism.
Responding a question, Dr.Abdul Malik stressed on the need to wage a joint struggle for strengthening democracy in the country instead of creating anarchy and widening gaps between masses and elected representatives.
The CM Balochistan was also dissatisfied over the law and order situation in Karachi and said that bloodshed of innocent citizen has become a habitual. Besides, extortion activities are on the rise due to which businessmen and industrialists feel insecure, he added.
