The number of dengue cases reported in Balochistan has increased to 3,841, according to the province’s health department, causing a health emergency. According to data provided by the provincial government’s Health Department, at least 62 additional dengue cases have been registered in the province over the past 24 hours.

According to the health department, the new cases came from three districts: Lasbela, Kech, and Gawadar. 48 instances were reported from Lasbela, two from Kech, and 12 from Gwadar, according to data provided by the provincial government.

The additional cases have brought the total number of registered Dengue cases to 3,841. According to the health department’s report, 2,966 cases of dengue were reported from the Kech district, 430 cases came from Gwadar, and 409 cases came from Lasbela.

In June of this year, drenching rains that caused severe floods decimated Balochistan. Not only in Balochistan, but also in other flood-affected districts across the nation, the flood left a trail of ailments in its wake, including gastroenteritis, cholera, dengue, malaria, and diarrhoea.

More instances of the dengue virus are being recorded around the nation every day, and this is causing the disease to spread quickly.
