CM reviews flood protective measures in Sindh
QUETTA (NNI/INP): Provincial Home Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Tuesday said that the flood emergency has been declared in view of possible flash flood in districts of eastern Balochistan bordering with Sindh province.
According to a statement issued here, the Minister said that the provincial government has cancelled the leaves of the staff of Provincial Disaster Management Authority and issued red alert in Jaffarabad, Naseerabad, Sohbatpur and Dera Bugti Districts.
The Balochistan government has imposed flood emergency in the province.

In related development, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has reached Larkana & Sukkur division on Tuesday to inspect and review the flood protective measures.
The Chief Minister Sindh along with Secretary Irrigation and other high officers of Local Administration is visiting river Indus banks and will visit Ulrajagir Band, Qadir Pur Bank, K.K Band, Tori Band.
Secretary Irrigation will brief the Chief Minister on Sept 10, at each site. The Chief Minister Sindh also to inspect Gudu and Sukkur Barrage and hold meeting with Irrigation and local Administration authorities and took briefing about current flood flow situation and pre-cautionary measures on the same day.
