ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has formulated a four-member committee that included a new entrant, Babar Awan. The committee will be led by Naeem Bukhari with Sikandar Mohmind and Malika Bukhari being the other members of the committee.
Talking to media here at Bani Gala Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said that the Hamid Khan was the senior member of his team and he is disappointed at his decision. Imran said that he would meet with the members of the legal team to decide the future strategy for the next hearing.
‘PTI has a lot of evidence to decide our next ‘line of attack’,’ Imran told adding that rulers have never been held accountable over corruption but history was going to change.
Imran said that by submitting the letter of the Qatari prince the Prime Minister has made the case a lot more difficult for himself as the step has raised more questions than answers.
‘In his address to the nation broadcast on media and the speech in the National Assembly there was no mention of this Qatar’s prince. Now where did he come in from?’ the PTI chief asked
Responding to a question the Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman said that the case is not for his party’s interest in fact the case is important for every single citizen of the country adding that it is not his money that has been misused but the tax payers money.
It is pertinent to mention here that Hamid Khan on Friday had requested the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan to excuse him from representing PTI for litigation of the Panama Papers case in the Supreme Court.
