At the utility stores, flour, sugar and rice started selling more expensive than the general market

ISLAMABAD: Flour, sugar and rice are being sold at utility stores at higher prices than the normal market.

According to the documents, a bag of 20 kg flour is being sold at Rs 2,840 at utility stores, while 20 kg bag of flour is being sold at Rs 2,792 in the general market.

According to the official documents, sila rice is Rs 53.40 more expensive in utility stores than in the general market, sila rice is available at Rs 317 per kg in the general market, while sila rice is available at Rs 370 per kg in utility stores.

White gram is also being sold Rs 13.53 more expensive in utility stores than in the general market, white gram in the market is Rs 391 per kg while white gram is available in utility stores for Rs 405.

Apart from this, sugar is also being sold at Rs 9 more expensive than the general market at utility stores, the price of sugar at utility stores is Rs 155 per kg which can be bought at Rs 146 per kg in the market.
