At least seven die, 40 hurt in stampede

MULTAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) show in Multan has set a worst example of mismanagement as at least seven people were dead and 40 others sustained injuries in a stampede at the public gathering on Friday.

According to Medical Superintendent of Nishtar Hospital, at least seven people died as a result of stampede, while 40 more including a private TV cameraman were injured.

According to sources, the mishap took place at eastern gate of Qasim Bagh stadium during the address of PTI Chairman Imran Khan. Agencies
