BEIJING: Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif arrived in Beijing on Monday to attend Trilateral China-Afghanistan-Pakistan Foreign Minister’s Dialogue.
The dialogue is part of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s initiative for trilateral consultations among Pakistan, China and Afghanistan for strengthening of relations and developing cooperation between the three countries.
According to Chinese Foreign Ministry, the dialogue is being held on the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif and Afghan Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani will lead their respective delegations at the dialogue. The trilateral dialogue will be held in the Chinese capital today to discuss development, security and counter-terrorism issues. NNI
