LAHORE: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Tuesday visited Lahore Garrison and said that Pakistan Army has always played exemplary role to defend the motherland.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Sharif visited Lahore Garrison and participated in 11th infantry division’s Golden Jubilee ceremony.

Talking on the occasion, he said the history of Pakistan Army is testimony to the fact how sons of the soil have expressed exemplary determination to defend the motherland.

The Army Chief said that infantry division emerged as best force in past wars and current war against terrorism.
