KARACHI: Former President and chief of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Gen. (Retd.) Pervez Musharraf has said that when corruption and bad governance in country touches to peak army has to interfere to mend the situation.
Talking to a private Tv channel on Thursday, Pervez Musharraf said that if civil governments show good performance there would be no issue of law and order, unemployment and corruption, then armed forces of country continue to work under elected governments.
He refused to comment over issue of tension between army and civilian government, however, said media reports the reveal that there exist some differences between the two.
Musharraf expressed grave concerns over the violation of rights of Muslims in Indian. He said that sovereignty of the country should be top priority and India should be replied in the same tone.
The APML chief said that during his government sovereignty of the country and national interests were kept supreme during meeting with any key international leader.
Musharraf strongly condemned the anti-Muslim agenda of Shiv Sena and criminal silence of Indian government over massacre of innocent Muslims in India.
Talking about PTI chief Imran Khan, he said that chairman PTI lacks political wisdom, however, admitted that Imran was favourite leader of youth.
