RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday pledged to rid the country of ‘fasaadis’ at any cost.
The Army Chief expressed this resolve in a special video message released a day ahead of Youm-e-Pakistan (Pakistan Day).
“On March 23, 1940 we resolved to create Pakistan and we succeeded. Now let us all pledge today to clean our country from the fasaadis,” the Army Chief stated in a video shared by DG Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor on his Twitter account. The nation will celebrate the 77th Pakistan Day today (Thursday) in a befitting manner. A spectacular joint armed services parade will be held near Shakarparian in Islamabad.
