Islamabad:

Armed struggle is still an option for Kashmiris if India fails accept the right self determination of Kashmiris on the dialogue table. This was stated by Hurriyat leaders Syed Yousuf Naseem and Ghulam Muhammad Safi while speaking in Roze News program Analysis with Asif. The leaders said that India should realize that the Kashmiris put down arms so that their demands are met on the dialogue table, and if this doesn’t happen the Kashmiris will take up weapons once again. They were of the opinion that none of the Kashmiri freedom groups are on the watch list of United Nations or United States as the global community accepts that the fight of Kashmiris for self determination is their right. Columnist Mussadiq Ghumman said that it was Sardar Mohammad Abdul Qayyum Khan of Muslim Conference who gave the slogan of ‘Kashmir will become Pakistan’ but now instead of Muslim Conference you see Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz in Azad Kashmir.

Syed Yousaf Naseem said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has made Fazlur Rehman the Chairman of the Kashmir Committee who has never met the Kashmiri leadership to discuss the issue. He also said that the only time the Kashmiri leaders have managed to meet Fazlur Rehman was on a dinner. Ghulam Muhammad Safi added that Fazlur Rehman who is the Chairman of the Kashmir Committee knows nothing about the Kashmir cause; he also added that previously Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan was the Chairman of Kashmir Committee who knew every detail of the Kashmir cause. He also praised that Benazir Bhutto played for the Kashmir cause.
