Are Pakistanis children of lesser God? Imran asks Olson

August 21, 2014

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief, Imran Khan Thursday came hard on US by warning Obama administration to mind its own politics as they had no right to poke their noses in Pakistan internal affairs.

About the legitimacy of the 2013 polls, he asked from Richard Olson, US Ambassador that would he consider the elections in the US legitimate , without verification of over sixty thousand votes from each constituency which later proved bogus? Imran precisely told the envoy “Are we Pakistanis children of lesser God”? .

While addressing to the enraged party activists in front of Parliament House, Imran reminded US not to support a government that came into power through rigging. “Please don’t take sides and avoid backing stooges like Nawaz Sharif, he maintained adding that if you want Pakistan as a friend of US, we are willing to be friends but I would never become a Washington’s stooge like Nawaz. USA has no right to interfere in the internal politics of Pakistan, he stressed.

Imran Khan went on saying that those who supported Nawaz Sharif in 2013 polls have now come to rescue him. He strongly condemned the State Department over its statement in support of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

He blamed PM Nawaz for protecting his unconstitutional, non-democratic government by hiding behind police, military and the US.

Imran Khan noticed that the government has replaced the IG Islamabad, who was not in favor of using force against the people and appointed Khalid Khattak to complete the task. He warned new IG Islamabad to listen to the voice of his conscience and not to execute unjust and illegal orders of the current rulers.

“Police may also attack the workers of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and I have conveyed a message to Dr Tahir ul Qadri that in case it happens we shall jointly fight back this tyranny”, Imran assured.
