APNS President lauds Daily The Patriot

ISLAMABAD:  President All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) Sarmad Ali visited the office of Pakistan Group of Newspapers on Saturday. The APNS President during his visit specially appreciated the regional newspapers of the group and said that he admires the objective reporting of the regional newspapers. Speaking exclusively to Daily The Patriot on the occasion Sarmad Ali said that Daily The Patriot holds a special place among national newspapers as the Supreme Court of Pakistan has taken suo motu notices many times on news reports published in Daily The Patriot and issued reported judgments. He said that the widely circulated Daily The Patriot is also a member of the All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) and is widely read. Sarmad further added that Daily The Patriot always carries stories that are different from other newspapers.

The APNS President was all praise for Chairman Roze News and Editor in Chief Pakistan Group of Newspapers and said that ‘Sardar Khan Niazi is a good friend of mine and I greatly admire him.’ He said that he not only watches Sardar Khan Niazi’s program Sachi Baat with great interest but also reads his columns with keenness. Sarmad added that Sardar Khan Niazi’s media group is regarded as one of the country’s most respected and credible media houses.

The APNS President also lauded Roze News and Pakistan Group of Newspapers for formulating and implementing its own code of conduct. He said that the code of conduct is not only as per the highest journalistic principles and ethics but also keeps in view our country’s cultural traditions and Islamic teachings.
