LONDON:Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Monday has appeared in police station in money laundering case after his bail expired.
MQM’s Farooq Sattar and Wasi Jaleel reached London before Hussain departed for the police station. Barrister Saif and barrister Farogh Naseem are accompanying the MQM leader in police station.
MQM’s legal team will make efforts to get extension in the bail. However, indictment is likely today if extension is not granted.
Sarfraz Merchant and Muhammad Anwar are among others who are nominated in the case.Agencies
