Islamabad: Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar says that we will consult positively on all the suggestions of the scholars and we also agree on many points, Maulana Fazlur Rehman is respected by us and will listen to his suggestions too.
Addressing the Ulema and Mashaikh meeting regarding the registration and reforms of madrassas, the Information Minister said that today all schools of thought of Pakistan are represented here, we want a solution to this problem that is acceptable to everyone.
He said that the Madrassas Bill could not become a law due to some legal complications, the suggestions of the scholars have been noted and a final solution will be found after consulting on these suggestions.
Attaullah Tarar said that after extensive consultation regarding the registration of madrassas, a system was formulated with the aim of bringing madrassas into the mainstream and eliminating the negative things associated with them. Students studying and graduating from madrassas should not be harmed. The registration of 18,000 madrassas is the fruit of the efforts of the Religious Education Department.

He said that I congratulate the Director General of Religious Education, the efforts of the Ulema are also included in the registration of madrasas.
Attaullah Tarar said that the fruits of the registration of madrasas under the auspices of the Ministry of Education have started to come, the students of the madrasas are moving forward in the fields of higher education. Students have been given the opportunity to move forward in life by providing equal opportunities.
He said that we also have to play our role in matters related to peace and order in the country, it is very important to combat terrorism and create awareness in this regard, a separate session will be organized in this regard.
