
During a Sunday election rally in PP-158, Dharampura, she declared that Punjabi voters will support development in the province and banish the PTI chairman’s politics.
She criticized the former prime minister, claiming that his government was overthrown the day the establishment, which served as his crutches, were removed. She claimed that Khan was the first politician to appeal to “the neutrals” to restore him to power since his removal from office had left him emotionally unstable.
Maryam claimed that despite the PTI chairman’s repeated calls for protests against the current administration, no one was heeding his pleas. The PML-N leader added, in reference to the allegedly leaked tape call of Imran’s wife Bushra Bibi, that she had instructed the social media team to flag as traitors anyone speaking ill of her or of Farah Khan’s corruption. She claimed that when the PTI was in power, Farah Khan (Farhat Shehzadi) and Imran Khan’s stepsons amassed billion-dollar fortunes at the expense of the general populace.
