SUKKUR: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi said on Sunday that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is being disappearing from Sindh now as it disappeared from Punjab.
Talking to media persons at the Jatoi House, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said the PPP is no longer a Bhutto’s party, it is now rather run by Asif Ali Zardari.
He said the PPP had now buried the Bhutto’s ideology with the martyrdom of Benazir Bhutto.
He said those accusing the PTI of holding rallies with the assistance of foreign funding should now approach the court and prove their claims.
Qureshi slammed that the Sindh government spent billions of rupees and government resources for the PPP rally in Karachi, which was highly unacceptable. The PTI leader said misconduct of the PPP activists was also witnessed during Bilawal Bhutto’s speech. He said there is not a single Bhutto in the PPP and now the party belongs to Zardari.
Qureshi said the people of Sindh are in need of an alternative leadership. He said the PTI will launch the “Sindh Jagao Campaign” from its Larkana rally on November 21.
He said the PTI chief Imran Khan hasn’t accused Khursheed Shah of corruption, but NAB had instituted cases against him.INP
