LAHORE: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq has said that attack from Afghanistan in Chaman was a conspiracy and demanded that the government must revisit its foreign policy.
Speaking in Lahore on Saturday, the JI Amir demanded that Afghan government should apologize over its firing on the Population Census team without any reason. He emphasised that if Pakistan and Afghanistan have to make progress, there is no option for them but to maintain good relations.
Sirajul Haq said that responsibility for tension in relations entirely rests with Afghanistan government and not on Afghan people.
He questioned as to why the government does not have a full fledged foreign minister and said it is because of Sartaj Aziz, Advisor on Foreign Affairs that Pakistan has been isolated at international level.
He said it would be historic if the supreme court ruling comes against corrupt rulers. He accused that the government specializes in corruption only.
