LONDON: A representative for the British foreign ministry stated on Friday that Russia has no moral standing to attend the Group of 20 countries while it continues its invasion of Ukraine.
The spokesperson declared that Russia “has no moral right to sit at the G20 whilst the aggression in Ukraine continued.”
We applaud Indonesia’s efforts to guarantee that the effects of Russia’s conflict are taken into account during G20 meetings as well as any hints that President (Volodymyr) Zelenskiy of Ukraine would attend the G20 Leaders Summit as a representative of his country.
Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, and Xi Jinping, the leader of China, have confirmed their attendance at the meeting, which will be held in Indonesia in November.According to Britain’s foreign minister, Russia has no moral justification for attending the G20.
