INP 01-118LAHORE: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan, Sirajul Haq has said it would be in the interest of both the government and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to resume their talks from the point of disruption.
Addressing a joint press conference with the PPP leader and former Federal Minister Rehman Malik, who visited Mansoora on Monday, Sirajul Haq said that politics means finding a way out of the crisis. He said that PTI chairman Imran Khan had expressed his willingness for dialogue and now it was the government?s responsibility to go two steps forward and resume the talks. JI deputy chiefs Hafiz Muhammad Idrees and Rashid Naseem and JI Information Secretary Ameerul Azim were also present on the occasion.
Sirajul Haq said that martial law was enforced in the country in 1958, 77 and again in 1999 because the political parties could not resolve their issues rising above mutual differences, and were not ready to tolerate one another. INP
