SSP Junejo announces prizes for police team

Two men were nabbed by the PS Margallah officials for kidnapping a seven-year old girl and demanding Rs. 10 million for her release.
As per details, one Muhammad Yusuf resident of Islamabad lodged a complaint with PS Margallah stating that her daughter Zarlish Jabeen was kidnapped by the unknown person. He told police officials that later he received a call from the kidnappers who demanded Rs10 m for the release of her daughter. After registration of case, police started investigations.
Taking notice of the kidnapping, IGP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan constituted a special team consisting SP (Sadr) Muhammad Ilyas, ASP Aamir Niazi, SHO PS Margallah Ghulam Muhammad Baqir, SI Sher Ahmed, ASI Muhammad Anwer, Head Constable Faryad Ali. Under the supervision of SP (Sadr) Muhammad Ilyas, special team started monitoring of the PCO from where the call was made to the girl’s father.
Police officials successfully nab a person who came to the said PCO for contacting Muhammad Yusuf.
After brief interrogation, police raided a house situated at sector G-8 and recovered the girl besides arresting another person. Both the kidnappers were identified as Mithu and Khuram Shezad. The vehicle used in the kidnapping of the girl was also seized.
SSP Islamabad, Asmat Ullah Junejo has announced cash prizes and commendation certificates for the members of police team for recovering the girl and arresting her kidnappers.
