KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Karachi’s former organizational incharge and named accused in the Baldia factory case according to the Joint Investigation Tribunal’s (JIT) report Hammad Siddiqui returned back to the city from Dubai on Monday,.

Siddiqui has made a comeback at a time when political upheaval is at its peak in the city of Karachi. The whole political scenario of the city has been quite turbulent ever since former Mayor of the city Mustafa Kamal along with Anees Qaimkhani marked their return after 3 years and made revelations about their former political party MQM.

Siddiqui served as MQM’s organizational head from 2009 to 2013. He went abroad ever since MQM chief Altaf Hussain dissolved the organizational committee and the Karachi Operation kicked-off. The counter terrorism court had named Siddiqui as a fugitive.

It will be worth noticing whether Siddiqui remains loyal to his political party and his leader or sets sail with Kamal and Qaimkhani on their latest endeavour to make things in the country better or presents himself before the law enforcement agencies for the crimes he is accused of being involved in.
