According to a global news agency, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has instructed his Indian counterpart to maintain peace in South Asia at all costs.
In his conversation with the Indian Foreign Minister, the American counterpart also emphasized that necessary steps should be taken immediately to reduce tensions with Pakistan.
According to sources, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio rejected Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar’s accusation that Pakistan was responsible for the attack.
The US Secretary of State did not listen to the baseless allegations and instead told the Indian Foreign Minister to reduce tensions with Pakistan.
The Modi government faced disappointment on this front as well due to the Pahalgam attack and the Indian Foreign Minister remained silent.
It should be recalled that earlier, in the US State Department’s regular press conference, the spokesperson had expressed his determination to continue working with Pakistan in the war on terrorism.
