PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur met with Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi, Acting Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Justice SM Atiq Shah was also present on the occasion.
In the meeting, the Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa discussed various issues of the province with the Chief Minister, however, Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur avoided commenting on these issues and only smiled.
According to sources, the Chief Minister said on the occasion that today is the oath-taking day of the Acting Chief Justice, so the issues of the province will be discussed later, for which other opportunities will come.
The meeting, which lasted for 10 minutes, is being considered important in political circles. Especially in the context of such a political environment when the Governor is criticizing the provincial government and the Chief Minister while discussing political issues every day, however, the Chief Minister nevertheless went to the Governor House.
On the other hand, according to provincial government sources, Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur had actually gone to attend the oath-taking ceremony of the acting Chief Justice, and his intention was not to have a political meeting with the governor.
According to sources, the meeting with the governor was also in accordance with protocol requirements, in which the acting Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court was also present, and the purpose of this meeting was not at all to discuss political issues.
