The constitutional bench of the Sindh High Court has stopped the arrest of former President Arif Alvi.

The constitutional bench of the Sindh High Court has issued notices to the FIA, police and other institutions on the applications regarding the details of the cases registered against former President Arif Alvi.

The applications regarding the details of the cases registered against former President Arif Alvi were heard before the constitutional bench in the High Court. While stopping the arrest of the former president, the court remarked that no step should be taken against Arif Alvi without the permission of the court. If there is any secret case against him, then the court should be informed.

The petitioner’s lawyer argued that we have obtained bail in 3 cases and no more cases are known. The court issued notices to the FIA, police and others. The court directed that the details of all the cases and inquiries be given. The court remarked that this is a former president, do the institutions think that he will kill someone. He should be respected so much. The court adjourned the hearing till December 19. Former President Arif Alvi said in an informal conversation that I am grateful to the judges. When judges look at a case, they look at it very closely. The judges have jokingly said that the institutions feel that the former president should not have committed any murder.

Arif Alvi said that in the current situation, the seniors who could have played their role are not being given the respect by the juniors. When they are not giving respect to their soldiers, what respect will they give us. What did he have to say about the Faiz Hameed case? He said that he knows this, but the good thing is that this case is going on against him for participating in politics. I hope that even after this, those who are participating in politics are not digging their own graves. They are ready to play a role to improve the situation.

He said that even one’s life can be sacrificed for the betterment of the country’s situation. We always say to everyone, hold talks, if there is progress, it will be positive. The former President replied to the question about the talks that he does not know anything, they are bold people. Arif Alvi said that he brings a book when he comes to court because he is wasting time. The police, the courts and our time are being wasted.
